Computers for Nepal’s Schoolchildren!

During our trip to Nepal, Kelley, Emily, Sudip and I had fun visiting the Tibetan Handicraft and Paper Co.  and watching the handmade tree-free paper-making process from start to finish. More importantly, we enjoyed meeting, sharing tea and becoming friends with the owners, Nima and Nimto Sherpa.

Following our return home, we received this note and photo from them in an email and thought you might also enjoy learning about the work they are doing: “We recently visited to our home village Bigu mountain area for 10 days and distribute 14 computers to the three secondary public schools in 3 different villages Bigu, Chilankha and Khopa Chagu.”

Visiting Nepal is always such a rich experience!
