Stickers for the children – check!

“Torch” (flashlight) and reading light for those nightime power blackouts – check!

Low-heeled shoes for the cobblestone streets – check!

Hand sanitizer – check!

Diarrhea medicine (for curry overdose)- check!

Camera – check!

Fleece to sleep in (no heat and upper 30s at night) – check!

I always say living in Kathmandu can be like car camping.
